Steve Jobs Co-founder, Chairman and CEO Of Apple Inc. |
Apple was founded by creative genius, Steve Jobs along with his friends Steve Wozniak and Ronald Wayne. Together the trio began to bring innovations like the very first computer, called the Macintosh, which is now known as Mac. Over the course of few years, Apple began changing their game with new product lines and seeing what the consumers desire. Apple clearly takes criticism and feedback from the previous years of their discontinued products and implies minimal changes to their upcoming products. Some changes include: better battery life, longevity for usage, the performance and stability, and better camera lens to capture vibrant photos and videos.
Apple does not give away too many potential add ons because by doing so their competitors, such as Samsung, may take ideas and make it better. These add ons/specs make Apple have something to work on or improve for their next generation product line. This is marketing at its finest!
By creating, communicating, delivering values to customers, and managing customer relationships, Apple focuses their attention to detail on their products and to their customers needs. They create a trust bond in making sure their products meet their customer's satisfaction.
Apple's Mission Statement- “Apple designs Macs, the best personal computers in the world, along with OS X, iLife, iWork and professional software. Apple leads the digital music revolution with its iPods and iTunes online store. Apple has reinvented the mobile phone with its revolutionary iPhone and App Store, and is defining the future of mobile media and computing devices with iPad.”
The new iPhone 7 rumors are beginning to turn into a visual leaked reality due to more promising photos given by the Chinese factory workers. As we approach September, the rumored iPhone 7 will make its world debut on the Apple WWDC (Worldwide Developers Conference) in San Francisco California. However, no actual date has been set.
Apple fanatics, like myself, are very excited and eager to learn more about the new iPhone.
There are three major, potential perks to look forward to and, at the same time, three major, potential setbacks. The setbacks can decline the growth in sales for Apple.
Every year as Apple releases an iPhone, the growth in sales increase due to new, beneficial characteristics of the phone. However, this year it seems like the sales might decline due to a few setbacks. Apple is planning on getting rid of the 3.5 headset port, which was originally meant for headphones/Earpods, and replacing it with a USB lightning connector. As a result, there will be angry customers who will not be able to use regular headphones anymore because they would either need wireless bluetooth headphones or the new USB lightning port headphones.
This leaves Apple with a 50/50 chance with their sales either being successful or failing. If Apple can pull this new headphone idea off, then I will definitely be looking forward to seeing what their first week of sales will look like during the first quarter.
